Once you get to level 4 or 5 you'll unlock the custom classes. They're located in the game lobby. You can choose a primary and secondary gun, as well as attachments for each weapon - although you won't have any attachments at first. You'll need to unlock those too, but getting a certain # of kills with each gun. Then you can choose 3 separate perks to go with that custom class. I.e. marathon (non-stop running), stopping power (added damage to your weapons - a real favorite of the noobie, as well as the experienced player) and ninja. Those are just examples.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

It is one of Little Robin's favorites.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostDoes anyone else rock the AUG H-Bar? That gun is hardly talked about. I really like that gun. I usually only use the "grip" as the attachment to reduce the recoil on it. It is in my top 5 guns though. I think the AUG H-Bar is the reason I haven't ever tried out the RPD.

That is correct.Originally posted by falafel View PostI'm having a hard time remembering now. The golden deagle, did you get that simply for reaching level 55? I think with the other weapons had to complete all of the challenges, right?I'm your huckleberry.

And by completing certain challenges within those perks, you can upgrade them to "pro" status. Ninja makes you invisible to heartbeat sensors; after you get so many close-range kills with Ninja, you get Ninja Pro, which makes your footsteps just about silent (I never play without it).Originally posted by falafel View PostOnce you get to level 4 or 5 you'll unlock the custom classes. When you hit about level 40 or so, the game changes completely. My playing style prior to level 40 and after level 40 are completely different.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I think the silent footsteps is a far better part of that perk than being invisible to heartbeat sensors. Usually the initial perk is the best part.Originally posted by nikuman View PostAnd by completing certain challenges within those perks, you can upgrade them to "pro" status. Very much agreed. Although the extra air damage with danger close pro is nice, to the extent I don't kill myself with it.Originally posted by filsdepac View PostI think the silent footsteps is a far better part of that perk than being invisible to heartbeat sensors. I ran smack two nights in a row - two nights! That is a new record. Also, I almost single-handedly won a game when we were way down. There was some serious Spas pwnage - 7 straight kills at the start, killed the entire team plus one or two.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

Hot Lunch can back me up on this, but last night we were playing with probably one of the best players I've ever seen. I have never seen anybody use an M16 like that in my life - you had no hope if he saw you first, and he usually would. Even if you saw him first he'd still usually kill you. Pretty cool guy, actually, in the lobby (and he had a hilarious exchange with a Level 70 10th prestige). His weakness, thankfully, was avoiding claymores. When he was on the other team, I would try to figure out where he was and then hang about at the other end of the map.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

Have their been any cheats introduced to MW2?Originally posted by nikuman View PostHot Lunch can back me up on this, but last night we were playing with probably one of the best players I've ever seen. I played some Enemy Territory at my last work and once people started using the cheats, it pretty much sucked.
I assume they keep MW2 locked up pretty well to prevent such things.

I've seen a few, but it's not super common. The two I see most usually are lag switches and turbo controllers (which I guess isn't actually a cheat).Originally posted by beefytee View PostHave their been any cheats introduced to MW2?

Yeah. I wish you would have been there for the Spas destruction, though - you would have loved it, since we tend to sprint to the same position on most games. This was on Karachi - we started at the spawn point in the back by the rubble and the chain-link fence. I sprinted to the center building like I usually do, killed the first person with the Spas, killed a second and a third, and then they all came back for more - and I killed them again. They finally killed me, but not until I had two killstreaks. It was nothing short of epic.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View Postall this happen after I jumped off I take it?
We were losing at the end of the game with 30 seconds left, something like 5200-7300, when I got my chopper gunner. I yelled for the rest of the team to take cover and hide, and then I started doing work. We won, 7500-7400, with like a second left.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.
