I've watched a couple of videos from pros....skeptical. First, they get their nukes playing Demolition and secondly they get way too many kills with the chopper gunner. I watched a video of Skid Row and the CG had settled into the courtyard (which never happens effectively) and the other team ran out as if the CG was dropping candy.

I am in for a huge late night run this weekend. This will be my last weekend for a long time, like at least 2 months, so I want to do it right. I plan on being up to the wee hours of the morn.

I am probably good for one long night and a short night. My sleep last night was minimal, so I will need to recharge at least one of the nights.

Which is better for you guys Friday or Saturday?

TDM is really hard to get nukes on for a number of reasons, IMO. First of all, you have to account for more than 1/3 of the kills, and that assumes no deaths. Second, I agree with you on CG - there are a few maps on which it is money for big kills: wasteland and afghan and rust. The rest are a mixed bag. I got very, very lucky last night because my chopper spawn-camped on them, and the entire team kept spawning right where I had just killed them. And I still needed one more kill after that to make the streak.

It helped immensely that we were playing a team of noobs last night. The highest rank was a two-star general.

Phat, Coach and I have all had streaks sufficient for a nuke (that's when we play together - I can't speak to what we do individually). I think the reigning total kills number is something like 42, but your teammates don't get much along the way. It usually happens when you zoom to your killstreaks and get a CG or AC130 in the air fast on a map like Wasteland or Rust (I first got nuked by somebody on Rust).

I recently discovered nextgentactics.com, which has what I think are some pretty helpful tactical videos for each of the maps. They also do different videos for different styles (e.g. tactical vs. run-n-gun).
