I finally prestiged, for my first time in MW3. I was waiting to get my K to 1, which I finally did at about 3100:3100... a little embarrassing that it took so long, but I wanted to be a 'net contributor' before I started over.

Spent my prestige token to unlock the MK14, which is sort of like an FN-FAL (one of my favorites). With Kick, the MK14 makes killen fools kinda feel like threading a needle. I just like that gun.

Maybe I need to develop an SMG style and take a closer look at the MP7, but it is going to be a while before I get there.

I'm way better at Counter Strike than I have ever been at any Call of Duty. That's saying something since I'm seriously amazing at Call of Duty, seriously, amazing.

Counter-strike is a completely different game. It's more simplified so it's better for competitive play (which is what I did back in the day). CoD is an "arcade" shooter with it's perks and killstreaks. It's fun but it's casual compared to the old school shooters like Quake/Unreal/Counter-Strike. They are all fun, just in their own way.

I was surprised at the idea of professional gaming. I mean, there are people out there who make money playing CoD? I had no idea. I was also surprised at how young the teams looked. One of them resembled Jake Heaps.

I wonder how our top 6 would stack up against these kids? We won 29 in a row last weekend.

Phat and I had a good time last night. We were playing just the two of us when the lobby is filled up with a full clan. These two dudes immediately start talking shit something about how the next 32 minutes will be hell. Whatever that means. Of course I run my mouth right back.

I looked at the K/Ds they were all pretty good 1.5+. The first game is really close Phat and I both have good games and were the top two on our team and 2 and 3 overall. The two kids talking shit were both negative 9/10. When the game ends some kid on the other team that didn't say a word before the game ends up like 25-12 and he starts going off. Of course I call him out for waiting until after the game to talk shit and then I slay the other two for not going positive.

Game 2 is another close game and Phat and I had by far the two highest scores to bad ChristismyLife went like 3-21 on our team and we lost again. But homeboy from game 1 that had 25 kills was 8-15. Again I killed him for that as well also the other two were not much better.

Finally game 3 Phat and I go off. At one point it is 4500-1300. I have all sorts of crap I am waiting to use Osprey Gunner, Attack Helicopter, etc. Phat is the same. The other guys slowly start backing out.

Both Phat and I finished with 20+ kills and less than 5 deaths. The whole other team backs out. As usually I start sending them messages and letting them know to never come in to one of my lobbies again and talk shit.

We didn't play for long but it was fun, reminded me of the good old days on MW2and BLOPS. MW3 just seems different they reward camping and that can be really frustrating.

A few of us had a decent stretch of games tonight. On the last one I went 22-0 and had two of the sickest sniper shots I've ever had. One was a headshot from all the way across the map, and the other was a long range two kills with one bullet.

When are they going to drop the map package for the rest of us...as a whole? I think the idea of dropping one or two maps every month for only ELI7E members is a slap in the face of those that thought they were paying for a great service. What is the point of having access to a map or two early if no one is playing those maps? I also don't see the point of only releasing a map or two at one time. Release the map packs, per prior protocol, and enjoy the rush of online players and increased competition.
