I will admit to using it in a pinch. Especially if I am caught off guard. It seems to be my initial reaction.

I use the tactical button layout to avoid that very thing from happening. It was also an easy transition from Halo.

As an added bonus, when you are surprised by something and accidently mash the right thumbstick, you'll drop to the ground instead of flailing a melee attack that misses.

Least favorite maps so far: Arkaden, Bakaara, and probably Underground. I can never get anything going in those maps, especially on Bakaara. Lots of long distances for snipers, lots of running in the relative open to get to the other side of the map. Not a fan.

Favorites are Hardhat, Interchange, Resistance and Carbon. I usually play pretty well on those maps.

I agree on both accounts. I love Seatown, Village and Hardhat.

Seatown, Village, Fallen, and Mission are solid maps too. Not my most favorite, but maps I feel confident playing and usually have a good time on.

I really hate Bakaara.

I'll probably prestige once, and then try to unlock everything. I'm at 79, I believe.

Prestiging isn't as big of a deal if you use your token to unlock Assassin. I'm debating what to unlock for my second prestige - part of me wants to unlock Dead Silence, but I don't use that as much as I did Ninja in MW2. I like the ACR, but the SCAR is almost as good. Maybe the FAD? Statistically that's my best AR.

You should accept invites to play with us. Playing on a good team will help you see what others are doing, hear where the enemies are (assuming we're discussing strategy instead of making fun of each other), and shadow others to pick off easy kills like I do with Cougjunkie.

Seconded. Join up. Don't be shy - we've all sucked at one point or another, and we all have games where we go 3 and 17 or something (well, I usually ragequit by then). And while playing together is generally better for our wins and stats, it's only half of the reason; some of the smack that goes on against random people on the other team is awesome.

Added benefit: if you join up with us, you can go back and watch what people do in any given game. So if filsdepac goes 30-5, you can watch his tactics later.

I just picked up the RCP90 the other day, this has to be my favorite gun in the game.

5 minutes away from passing the 1 day mark. I've prestiged and am now at Level 20, but Elite says it'll take 1.2 years to get to 2nd prestige, so yeah it sucks.

I haven't messed with ELIT3 mostly because it is banned on my work computer. Am I missing anything of value?

Mostly its a way to get a small MW3 fix during the day. I like "planning" my playing time by tweaking my classes and reviewing which challenges I'm closest to obtaining.

By "it" I meant the calculator, not elite in general. I actually like the site overall. You can see all of your games, where the kills happened, guns used, etc. You can see the same thing for virtually everyone. You get to modify your classes, review what challenges you're close to completing, etc. I don't think I'd look at it from home but fun to review at work.
