That kid last night was classic. He was giving us a play by play of every single thing that was happening. So Fusniks friend start mocking him and the kid had no idea we were making fun of him. Also I believe it was Fus that was talking Spanish to some guys of course he was just dropping a few swear words.

I was dying last night that Mburch (the 13 year old) was put on my team and everyone else was on the other team he started bitching like crazy. Next game he is put with Filsdepac, Fus, and a few other guys we play with and he was like cheering. We kicked their ass in that game and he quickly retracted his statement.

Then he told Fus during a game that he had shot down at least 80 AC130s. But after the game he said it was actually 50. Then when Fusnik asked if it was 50 or 80, he said "At least 50 but more like 80."

Unreal I couldnt stop laughing I actually had to take my headset off because I woke my wife up.

Nothing like 20 and 30-year-olds picking on an 8th grader. That was funny though, I almost wanted to friend him so he could play with us in the future. Looked like you had a good connection last night, seemed like I saw your name popping up a lot at the bottom of my screen, killed by [Utes]Utehater.

Caveat: The AC-130 is harder to bring down (even though it supposedly takes the same number of missiles). So if I am playing with a group that always carries launchers, I will switch to the AC-130 instead of the Apache.

I know a lot of people have classes with launchers so they can switch if they get killed with air support. Me, I usually play with Cold-Blooded (sometimes Danger Close on tighter maps) so it's not an issue. The greatest benefit to playing with Cold-Blooded is being able to run around the map when somebody is going nuts with their air support - otherwise you get pinned down and your location is given away.

Side-note - I've been playing with the TAR lately, and it's a nice piece of work.

The TAR, silenced is nasty. Very accurate, with plenty of distance. It is one fugly gun, put nice none the less. I have been having fun with the Aug HBar w/ a silencer and the grip.

I just can't get into any of the light machine guns. I've tried them all - Aug, RPD, etc. - and they just don't do it for me. I'm thinking I might try some of the SMGs next, but I'm too comfortable with the assault rifles. Give me a SCAR, ACR, M16, or TAR and I'm happy.

You haven't used any of the SMGs? I practically live off those guns. P90 and mini-uzi are where its at! Add a silencer or rapid fire and adopt a run 'n gun style. Its a ton of fun. You need to be accurate though. Short clips.

I had a great game the other night with akimbo uzis on high rise. I had rapid fire on too. Anyone that came within 10 feet of me was dead in less than 1 second.

I think that you would really like the AUG, especially when you get a silencer with it. It is very much like the TAR.

I have tried SMGs quite a bit and it just is not doing it for me at all. The UMP45 is the SMG. I have unlocked everything for that except the extended mags. I am working on the MP5 now. The P90 is good. Very similar to COD4. The MP5 was unbelievable in COD4 and they have overcompensated for that in this game. I would do more damage by peeing in the wind than that damn gun in MW2

Not enough range on the SMGs. I carry an assault rifle for long to mid range, akimbo shotguns for close range. It's hard to beat a guy with akimbo shotguns.

Yeah, but shot guns don't have enough range. SMG fits nicely between the assault rifle and the shot guns.

And the 1887s have plenty of range. Even with the recent patch.

Still, my first and best skills are being out in the open in a map like Wasteland. That is my favorite map. The shottys are just for when I get in close somewhere, like in Skidrow.

I noticed that. Annoying! Plus, the way they flip the guns like they're in the old west. Drives me batty.

I don't like akimbo shot gun either. I realize the game is not real anyways, but to me it just becomes another Doom or Unreal Tournament. I prefer to keep the game a little more realistic. I have a hard time seeing a guy really running around with two shotguns like that.

ha! I gave into akimbo shotties as well. They do battle on estate holding the 2nd floor. Love them, but still hate them, if you know what i mean.
