What service are you paying for? IIRC comcast has a 6mbp service, which is probably more like 8mpb on a good day. That's plenty for all that you're doing, but if you had 16 like coach, it would probably give you that slight edge.

You are correct, kind sir. We are paying for the 6mpbs service. I did the test through the Comcast Customer Service and I am getting 3.2 mbps. The Service Rep said that it is an isolated issue in Kentucky. Apparently the signal from all modems in Kentucky goes through Greenville and they have found the issue and are currently working on it. There is no estimated date for a correction. I pretty much can just wait it out or go to another provider. I am currently looking...

Good luck with that. DSL blows (IMHO), and there aren't usually any other cable companies competing in the same market. Perhaps Comcast will give you a 6 month discount on the higher bandwidth rate (assuming that isn't part of the same problem you mentioned) for your troubles. Seems pretty lame that they are charging you for 6 when you're only getting 3.

That is what I just got off the phone doing. The Comcast rep said that it was a local issue and it is up to the local office to offer such a discount. She said that she is sure that they will do something when the issue has is resolved, she just wasn't sure of what. They know that they are the only show in town for DSL and so they aren't to eager to help a frusterated customer out. I am at the mercy of the man and he is continually holding a man down.

So in back to back games today in free for all we were nuked by the same guy. I have seen about 8 or 9 nukes (that says a lot about my skills) and I think all but one have come in Sub Base.

Oh and my internet sucks too, I have to reset my modem every 20 minutes and sometimes I have to reset it 5 or 6 times in order for it to work. I have bailed in about half of the games I have played because of this. It sucks I called Qwest and they want to charge me for a new modem. Rat bastards!

Yeah, I follow the sports postings too, but don't really feel like I'd add much to the conversation but enjoy others' banter.

Nonetheless, if BYU's tourney run begins in San Jose, rest assured that we will all be at both the Thursday and Saturday games, with an MW2 LAN party at PAC's house in between.

At least try to get a discount on your service. I usually try and pit Comcast against another service provider down her every 6 months. I usually get about 50% knocked off my price for a limited time.

Prestige 1, level 57. I will not prestige again - those first few levels are killer.

My loadout is typically ACR w/ silencer, akimbo Ranger (will change to 1887 when I get them), scavenger pro, cold-blooded pro, ninja pro perks, with claymores and flashbangs. On Wasteland I'll use the M-16 with the holo sight, and on the desert one I use the Barret with FMJ, marathon and the extra damage perk (but only sometimes).
