The TAR takes some skill to use because of the recoil, and I don't use it on mid-far maps (like wasteland) but it's my gun of choice for mid-near maps like Highrise. The silencer is good for reducing recoil, but I usually use the red dot sight.

I feel the same way about the TAR that you do. I throw on the silencer and it is pretty much all I use on mid-near maps. I love that gun. It rivals the ACR in my mind.

Unsilenced with stopping power pro, it is devastating at mid to near range.

I don't like the TAR with the RDS due to the scope but enjoy the halo sight.

Yes, I love the TAR, but haven't been using it much lately since the last prestige (just because I'm mixing things up... have been working on crack knife killa classes and snipers).

Exactly. The RDS is HORRIBLE. Very difficult to see with. The holo is the great though.

Tar with FMJ and stopping power... that is the magic combo that cuts through anything and kills the bad guy.

I'm probably late to the party, but I have just recently discovered the FAL. It is one fun gun.

You are not late. I think you might be the only one using the FAL these days.

I disagree completely. The RDS make it easier to see the periphery so it's harder to flank you when you are aiming down sight. Like I said, the TAR is not for the inexperienced.

Not the only one. I picked one up from a dead guy yesterday when my weapon ran out of ammo.
                        Not that, sickos.

When I'm aiming down sight, I want to be able see down sight. Peripheral vision is a secondary consideration.

No one likes the FAL? I think the magnetic attraction to enemies is stronger on the FAL than other weapons. It has a decent sized clip. Two shots (with stopping power) kills.

Secondary only if you don't care about dying.

It's important if you're camping though.
