I think there's plenty of anecdotal evidence in this thread to refute that claim.

So yes I am an Xbox guy and maybe I have xbox goggles on but so far I have to say that I like the Xbox controller is ten times better than the PS3 controller. I know I am used to the Xbox controller and have logged many days with that. I think I killed myself 6 or 7 times last night because when I went to shoot, I accidentally threw my semtex grenade. If the grenade didn't kill me then the dude I was try to get sure did.

Also the picture on the Xbox was a lot better. I played it on the same T.V. and there was no question the picture on the Xbox was better than the PS3. Even my daughter who always wakes up in the middle of night and watches me play sometimes said to me "daddy, what did you do to your shoot game? It doesn't look the same."

My first game I joined last night I came in for about 30 seconds and then we got nuked (before I joined up with the other PS3ers).

We always change our clan tags around, and I just so happened to change mine to NIKU. The next game I went 79-11 (headquarters) on High Rise and ended it with a nuke. If it weren't for Wuap shooting down my harriers and chopper gunners, I would've had 100 kills. I changed it to JAZZ when we started playing the Lakers fans, just to piss them off, but I might change it back to NIKU tonight, I'm superstitious.

I'll change mine from my usual 26.2 to FPAC for you, then.

Something is wrong with your settings then. Because the technology in the PS3 compared to the xbox when it comes to HD/Bluray capabilities is not close. Gameplay, interface, etc can be argued forever but that is not close.

I haven't noticed any difference in the picture between my xbox and my ps3 when playing MW2.

Okay, I know I had that issue about 2 years ago with a qwest wireless router that they replaced for me. that is why I asked.

In options, you can change the controller settings to flip the fire vs. grenade buttons. I can't remember if it changes anything else...

"How" is it set to strict? Does it not allow port forwarding?

Maybe its just time to drop $40 on a new router.

I can see why you would like the XBOX controller. It was hard for me to get used to the controller but now I prefer the PS3 version. Easier for me to mash buttons on the PS3.
