See, I don't see why that doesn't happen more often. My streak will never be very long because either hosts back out, I leave b/c i get invited somewhere else or I need to go do something.

I still hold the points per time played as the true measure of one's size.

I think in Phat's case he was playing with the same 5 guys for a long long period of time. If they are the host, then the game would just keep re-filling up with new guys if everyone left.

I think that is the easiest/fairest measuring stick.

I played with the same 5-8 guys for a 2 year time table.

It is impressive but not great when you realize that as long as you finish in the top 3 it counts as a win.

Really? I'll have to look at my stats again, but I'm pretty sure all the times I've come in second or third haven't been counted as wins.

I am basing that off of COD4. I haven't played FFA on MW2 unless I am waiting for an invite from someone that is in a game.

I often play FFA when I'm trying to level up a gun. As such, I've been playing it a lot lately. Its fun. Definitely a different approach is required.

I would wager to bet that you couldn't win 10 TDM in a row, let alone 21. 21 in any game type is impressive, especially Mosh Pit. That being said, there are those that lead the team to victory and those that ride the coattails. Which are you?

I don't like FFA for a few reasons. 1.) It rewards carelessness. Rack up as many kills as possible, in a short ammount of time, no matter how many deaths you have. 2.) Boosters. They use this platform as a breeding ground of all that sucks / cheats, glitches, nukes, etc. 3.) It only measures one aspect of being a good player. Too many people think that if they are good a FFA then they are a good player. Not so in my opinion.

That's definitely true. I played a lot of FFA this past weekend. In one stretch I was nuked 3 times in 10 games. I didn't stop to think if they were boosters or not.

I get annoyed when I come in second with six kills and the guy who won had 30. I tend to get careless when I discover boosters and do everything I can to kill them over and over and over.

Boosters are friends that get together in the corner of the map and one kills the other over and over. They usually use tactical insertions to make it easier. They're trying for nukes and/or other difficult titles, etc. They suck.

I had this happen just the other day. I was in second place with 7 or 8 kills and one death. I wasn't paying attention to first place yet because it was only about 3 minutes into the game and next thing I know a nuke is being dropped. The lobby was pretty funny after the game. One guy was pissed. I listened for a few seconds and then backed out and found a new group.
