Guster's later albums, especially their most recent "Ganing Up on the Sun", are really good, and not nearly as gimmicky as their earlier stuff.

I used to think Muse was too dramatic and gimmicky... sort of like Queen... but after playing them enough times on Rock Band I like em.

I still like it a lot too, since it was the first Guster album I really got into.

System of a Down. Initially I would listen to "Chop Suey" with my wife in the car as sort of a gimmick. But I grew to be a fan, and ended up buying their albums. I'm a fan.
