Not sure whether it's been discussed here, but I watched The Night Of over the last week. It is a single season, which is awesome. 8 episodes ant you're done. It's about 10 years old now, but it's well done and it's captivating from the first episode through the last. Some familiar faces from The Wire make appearances (Omar and Bodie, primarily). It's really well acted with a couple of exceptions, but those are small parts. John Turturro plays one of the leads and he's awesome. This show is like if The Wire and Prison Break and Better Call Saul all had a had a 3-way baby. Really enjoyed it.

The first episode (including the Mazzy Star song) wrecked me. I watched another one, but I couldn't proceed after that. It was probably about 9 years ago that I tried. I should try again.

IT: Welcome to Derry is insane!!!

I haven't watched it, but I love the Derry universe. I have re-read IT a time or two and enjoy the nexus with Derry in other King stories.

It is really done well and the historical background has been interesting. This takes place in the 50’s I think. Still trying to figure out the family who picked up the kid. Was that the origin.

Not sure if this is the beginning of the Derry series.

The new GOT spinoff dropped (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (AKotSK). Enjoyed the first episode. We shall see if it is as good as the other spinoffs.

It did introduce some families from GOT (Targaryen, Baratheon and Lannister)..

I watched the first season and enjoyed it. I'm about to start the second. It got stuck behind watching Shoresy again.

Speaking of Shoresy, you anti-profanity people shouldn't even consider watching it. I'll shut up because it's a Hulu show.

LOVED the first season, and enjoying the second thus far. We haven't watched the latest episode that dropped yesterday but will do so tonight with our SoCal hosts who are also very into it. I wish ERCoug were around as I'd enjoying hearing his thoughts. Two doctors I play golf with say it's unusually good for a medical show although, understandably, everything is very compressed timewise for television.

The Pitt is fantastic! Loved the first season. Haven't yet started season 2. A local friend of mine who is an ER doc said it is the most realistic of the many ER shows available. Especially the massive amount of social work that doctors and nurses are required to do on a daily basis.

It’s been a slow build but already a better show than House of Dragons. Episode 3 has pulled me in. Also the old man full frontal was hilarious.

Have not watched E3 yet. Looking forward to it.. As for the horse-man... I don't even want to know how they searched to find that guy..

I've been a bit hesitant to say anything about this show, because I'm guessing most people here would not be into it, but Heated Rivalry is honestly one of the best things I've seen in a while. Written & directed by Jacob Tierney, who is the co-creator/writer/director of Letterkenny and directed several episodes in the first two seasons of Shoresy.

The premise is: What if Sidney Crosby & Alex Ovechkin had a secret gay love affair that started during their rookie season and lasted over a decade? That's obviously preposterous, but it's so well made, written, and acted that it ends up being a very sweet and ultimately moving love story. There are some quite explicit sex scenes (although no frontal nudity), but if you can tolerate that and are at all intrigued, I would definitely recommend checking it out. Plus, there's hockey (kind of ... not really).

I'm a huge fan of Letterkenny and Shoresy. Tierney is brilliant, and I'm a hockey guy. Still, I doubt I'm going to check it out.

My daughter is all with this series, and has already watched it twice. She couldn't care less about the hockey. She recommended it to me, and I may give it a go.
