The last episode is essentially zombie free also. Coincidentally that and episode 3 are Mrs. NWC's favorites.

Finished this last night in my hotel room. Incredibly moving. My favorite too, so far.

The mega monster in episode 5 is the one thing that strikes me as way too video game-esque. But Episodes 5 and 6 were great otherwise.

Not familiar with the source material at all, but feel like they could have done something a little more original.
I haven't gotten around to watching it yet, but I think if people are raving about a TV show built on cut scenes from a video game... let's just let it breathe a little and enjoy it, yeah?

I started the Last of Us. There are definitely some familiar themes (it's sort of Walking Dead meets I am Legend), but I'm two episodes in and I'm really enjoying it.

What I like to mock is some of you snobs claiming that a classic movie (raiders, back to the future, etc) is "terrible" when it clearly isn't terrible.

Do things get cooking in E2?
