Dahl is great! He's a far better writer than Lloyd Alexander. Sure, some kids might be more entertained by fantasy writing than The BFG, but that's more a case of opinion than writing quality.

Sorry to disappoint you but Miss Watson won't be acting for a while, other than the final two Potter films. She just started her freshman year at Brown University in Rhode Island.

I saw her on David Letterman when the film came out.

He read both The Hobbit and the entire Lloyd Alexander series this summer. My own opinion, you should be drawn and quartered for your blasphemy against Roald Dahl.

Now that J.K. Rowling has raked in a cool billion, she is being sued by some Brit who claims she plagarized "The Adventures of Willy the Wizard." It appears that the concept of a child wizard had already been done.
