Get Shorty by Elmore Leonard. My favorite Leonard novel yet. The guy was a master of witty dialogue.

Just about to finish Hillbilly Elegy based on recommendations from you folks. I love a good memoir and this one is very good. Thanks.

Also finished Tishomingo Blues by Elmore Leonard. Supposedly it was Leonard's favorite novel. Features a high diver, a Mississippi casino, Detroit mobsters, and civil war reenactors. EL had a gift for storytelling and witty dialogue.

I listen to books as I commute and drive the kids around. Also I have a kindle paperwhite that I take with me everywhere I go. Waiting at the doctor's office for a few minutes - read some of the book.

I just finished a book a week or so ago that I really enjoyed.

IQ by Joe Ide - Best way I can think to describe it is if Sherlock Holmes was from South Central.

Also, High Dive by Jonathan Lee - A fictionalized account of the assassination attempt of Margaret Thatcher by the IRA in the early 1980's.

Wanted to give oxcoug his due. He recommended Six Days of War by Michael Oren. Amazing book, learned a lot and it was definitely a page turner.

Heard about A House Full of Women by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich on NPR and started that a few days ago. I know very little about church history so it is all news to me.
