  • Singing with angels

Who watched it? I seen it on Netflix. The director and organist were actors as well as President. I think there were some real members of the choir there though. Lady almost died but survived at birth. Married only child and had overbearing mil. Husband lost job but someone paid for his Europe trip anyway. He gave ticket to guy who almost committed suicide tell Te saw motab add.

Well guy killed in accident and lady felt she shoe go live near mil, should she go there or stay with choir. Went there. I wonder how many people don,t make the tell they turn 60 or 20 year milestone.

Death, moving and other things probably do shift some chor seats. Of course members miss some days for sickness, and visiting for farewells and blessings. Donlt know if they have fill ins for those weeks. Guy in our ward has brother in choir. He sang at step nephews farewell before. Singing with angels decent chick flick. Some morbid stories. But typical life challenges of someone that happens to be choir me,ver.

Haven't seen it but they filmed part of it with the choir right after I joined. I wasn't in it because of scheduling conflicts for the days they filmed in the Tabernacle.

We add about 30-40 new members a year and lose somewhere around the same amount through the year. At full strength there are 410 members for 364 seats so the loft is usually pretty full despite routine absences. I need to keep 80% attendance to stay in the choir but they would talk to me somewhere before I got to that point as a warning. I don't know that threshold since I've been over 95% since joining.
