  • Movie suggestions..

I'm starting to think that it's time for me to watch more movies, thought I don't know why. So I'm asking for suggestions of movies that folks here have seen in the last decade or so. I only ask that the films have nothing to do with 3 things:

    1. No romantic comedies
    2. No George Clooney movies
    3. No Sean Penn movies

So, if you were to suggest 2 or three for the weekend to see, what would they be?

        Probably a vampire movie.

This is going to be hard. ilpad hasn't watched a movie other than those his wife makes him see since John Wayne died.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

We know he likes Strange Brew. I'll be curious to hear others.

                        R rated movies are fine.

My favorite films are fact based war films, Patton, A Bridge Too Far, Glory, The Enemy Below, etc. I also like the original Star Wars trilogy, comedies like Christmas Vacation, Strange Brew, Pink Panther films. Not a fan of raunchy stuff like those American Pie films. I also liked Mel Gibson's portrayal of Hamlet, but not much of a fan of his Lethal Weapon movies, save the first.

My oldest son has the DVD of No Country For Old Men. I liked it. Never heard of the others.
