I have a hard time believing you wouldn't find something to like on there. Now you're just being stubborn.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Saturday Night Live is revving up for its 37th season.

Kicking off four consecutive news shows on Sept. 24 will be Alec Baldwin, returning as host for his record-setting 16th appearance. Radiohead returns for their second appearance as musical guest.

First appearance on SNL since 2000 and the relase of Kid A. Right now my money is only performances of Bloom and Lotus Flower, with an outside shot at The Daily Mail or Staircase.

I remember that SNL. Idioteque and national anthem. Thom throws the mic stand to the ground. I believe Kate hudson hosted.

Both are awesome performances (especially The National Anthem with the full brass section) and almost impossible to find because SNL always pulls them as soon as someone puts them up. I was intending to link them with my post but couldn't find any working vids.

Reminder about the snl appearance this saturday night!

Also, just announced this morning that they'll be doing an hour long special on the colbert report next monday. Very excited about that. Sounds like there'll be an interview, four songs aired on the show, and an additional live song made available online. I find it peculiar that they are finally promoting the album 7 mos after its release and again playing an unreleased track (the daily mail) in an official capacity, but I'm not going to speculate on anything because I can't handle triples making fun of me anymore.

Still only that first listen, nothing more. I will probably fall asleep during SNL.

And that will be before RH takes the stage.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

No way. Alec Baldwin is funny. I love that guy.

Promo clip for SNL. Wtf is up with Ed's hair? And Colin in general? haha

So looks like they will be playing Staircase as the second song on SNL. At least one unreleased song on each of SNL and Colbert. I'm not really sure I get what they're doing, but I guess by now I know that they'll just do whatever they hell they want.

Sounds like it will be lotus flower and staircase. Hopefully they worked out some of the kinks in lotus flower because the from the basement version definitely could have sounded better. And I hope snl does some type of parody on the lotus flower dance.

Fat chance. Do you think Lorne Michaels would allow Andy Samberg to risk calling down the wrath of Thom Yorke upon his show?

I'm sure a parody of the lotus flower dance would kill on SNL. Everyone would know exactly what it was.
