I prefer Pretty in Pink James Spader but if in a pinch I also can also go for Mannequin James Spader.

    • I watched the pilot but I thought it was dumb.

      • We like it so far.

Now, Sleepy Hollow, that one is dumb.

        • Anyone else catch Hello Ladies? It is an HBO original comedy that airs Sunday nights. I watched the pilot and thought it had some funny moments. Enough to keep me watching.

The best James Spader is the James Spader from Tuff Turf. The world agrees with me.

            • We wrapped up Ray Donovan the night Dexter finally crashed and burned to an end. It seemed a bit forced at the beginning with character introductions with lots of stereotypes but it got better as it went along. I love Liev Schreiber. And Jon Voight is spectacular in this show. He deserves an Emmy. Seriously he is so good in his role. It's probably my favorite new show.

We also watched the pilot of Masters of Sex. It will probably join our Sunday watching lineup with Homeland back on. And holy shiz, pretty good Homeland premiere.

I thought Masters of Sex was just ok. Not sure if I will keep watching.

                Homeland premiere was great.

Ray Donovan I quit watching halfway through the season.

Dexter final season and especially the finale was atrocious.

Eastbound and Down premiere was great.

Hello Ladies premiere was pretty funny.

Boardwalk Empire is still a great show.

I haven't watched it yet but my wife is raving about The White Queen. She said it is similar to Game of Thrones.

Homeland is still better than most TV shows, but it is a noticeable step below Breaking Bad (and even below where Homeland itself was in season 1). After watching so much Breaking Bad lately, and then watching Homeland, I can't bring myself to watch the Homeland episodes on a weekly basis. I'll wait until the season is over and then binge watch.

                  • A lot of those shows you guys are talking about don't seem like appropriate viewing for someone who holds the Melchezedek Priesthood. Time to raise the standard, guys.

I think Less Than Zero James Spader is by far the best.

                      • I admit to liking Spader, and being a fan of Boston Legal. The last 5 minutes of BL with Spader and Shatner drinking and smoking on the balcony was good tv.

Blacklist had to come hard out of the gate to stay alive, but thus far the rest of the cast are a couple of notches below Spader, and need to catch up quick.

My wife and I watched MoS as well and liked it. It will be interesting to see if it has any staying power at all though. Might hit its climax prematurely.
