Just to be very clear, I judge no one poorly for wanting to see this.

The book was terrible. Don't waste our time.

I'm going to see this. He blows up a tree with one swing of the axe
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Mixing up the Washington and Lincoln stories. Just one more reason to skip it.

Great, now a whole generation of American teenagers will believe that Abe Lincoln really was a vampire slayer.
              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Wrong. Lincoln was a real axe man. His skills were legendary in the Illinois frontier.

I was just about to post this! And an attorney that would have probably argued cases to the illinois circuit court in good ole' Carthage once a year! Let us rejoice in our rich frontier history while combining it with some stovetop-chapeau'd, candid speaking, chin-strap equipped kicking of some serious antebellum vampire ass!

He doesn't kill all vampires. He is actually friends with some of them.

I think this looks like a fun movie and am looking forward to seeing it with my sons. I'm not sure how much they will actually like it when they end up comparing it to the Lost Boys, which according to them, is the greatest vampire themed movie ever. I have to admit that I agree.

Why are you trying to suppress an important history lesson?
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

Fun movie, but (and I can't believe I am writing this) not as enjoyable as the book.

I'd have to agree with that. Lost Boys was pretty good. Interview with a vampire was a good flick too.
