I thought that episode might be the best TV episode I've ever seen. Though, the ending was a little cheesy and might have spoiled it a little. The dominatrix lack of uh clothes definitely added to the experience.Originally posted by falafel View PostYou definitely need to watch the last episode of season 2.
Does the dominatrix's, uh, lack of clothing have anything to do with your wife's disinterest?
The Christmas party was perfect. Here's part of it.

Wow. Seriously?
I thought it was the weakest of the series to that point. Go figure."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

I'm getting obsessed with the Molly character. Every scene she's in I could watch 100 times.

Finally got around to watching episodes 2 & 3 of season 2. I have to admit that they were pretty darned good. Especially the last one. Great setup for next season."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

My 15 year-old daughter reminded me of this and we watched the very first episode tonight. I'm hooked.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

Finally got around to starting the second season of this last night. So many questions:
Spoiler for Plot questions:1) Did Adler really have any compromising photos on her phone? Or did she just have the code she stole from the MOD and that was just a ruse to get Sherlock onto the case?
2) Why was the CIA so interested in retrieving the phone? Or the MOD, for that matter (although that one is a little more understandable since it was their info that was stolen)?
3) How was Moriarty involved? Was he orchestrating the terrorist cell plot?
4) Why did Adler steal the info? Her self-protection game? Then why inform Moriarty? Certainly, she's not involved in the plot or she wouldn't have been released.
Fun episode, and Adler is nice to look at, but way too many loose ends out there. At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Adler had information, but she didn't know how exactly what it was or how to use it. She contacted Moriarty (the criminal consultant) and he came up with the plan to get Sherlock to break the code. Since it was Moriarty's plan, it's possible the phone she was using didn't have any pictures, but it I don't think it matters too much. The CIA and MOD wanted the phone back because they didn't want it getting out that they had broken the terrorists' code. They didn't realize that their plan was discovered until Moriarty called Mycroft. Not that, sickos.

Also, don't you think Moriarty could have broken it without Sherlock? Particularly, given that he already knew the plan had to do with a blown up airplane (would have recognized seat assignments more readily than Sherlock). Remember, Moriarty is maybe 0.001% less intelligent than Sherlock. At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah
