Seasons 4 and 5 were as good as anything they did, and a lot of better than season 2. What they did after season 3 was a stroke of genius and kept the show far more interesting than it would have been had they followed the template for most TV shows.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Huh. I am only 3 episodes in so I maybe I just need to get to know all the new players. I was excited about the twist at the end of season 3, but I have been underwhelmed with season 4 so far.

Is there any way to get the second season (series) of Sherlock? It's already been broadcast in the UK on the BBC. It sucks to have to wait until May for the second season to broadcast on PBS.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

So we're in season 2 and last night we watched the episode where they encounter the Pegasus and come under the command of Admiral Cain. I don't think I've ever seen a more misogynist hour of television than that. Not only do they show the rape of the female cylons, but that they portray Cain as this masochistic uber bitch is troubling at best, infuriating at worst. Never have I been so incensed by the representation and treatment of women in the media.

Not that I'm aware of, but I have only looked on the PBS website.

Watched Episode 2 of sherlock tonight (season 1). Another good one. Feels a bit off to refer to 3 episodes as a season, but whatever works. Tomorrow night we will watch the "season" finale.

Definitely one of the weakest episodes in that series. The cylon rape was ridiculous, as were most of the unnecessary sex scenes with the 6.

And yet, at the same time, the show was turning Laura Roslin into one of the most complex female characters on television. Interesting show.

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

                      Pilgrim,

I take it you have yet to see Part 2 of that show ('Season 2.5')? It gets better.

And yes, Roslin becomes a very interesting and nuanced character.

The League is terribly funny. Very inappropriate...not Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia inappropriate, but about as close as it can get. Man, I can watch each episode several times...is there a terrible human being as funny as Ruxin?

Oh man, some of the things he said this season...

                          He is a great character.

I agree with that. I have thoroughly enjoyed the way they have portrayed women in this series up until now. It's just that that particular episode really pissed me off. It appears to be an anomaly.

Watched the season 1 finale of Sherlock. Brilliant episode.

I need to figure out how to get my hands on Season 2. I don't want to wait until May.

Does this stream on netflix? Or did you get it off of the pbs site? I searched netflix and have 166 results for Sherlock Holmes.
