Except for the whole problem of the phone crashing all the time and having to do battery pulls because of memory drain, it is great for email and typing.

I never experienced that. My BlackBerry was rock solid. Just way behind the times.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Same. I have more of those kind of issues with my Droid.

Sure it may be the best Blackberry, but it wasn't even on the level of the GSII and the iPhone 4 when it was released, let alone comparable to the GSIII, HTC One X, Galaxy Nexus, or the iPhone 4S. There is no reason to buy a Blackberry unless someone is forcing you to use a Blackberry.

I'm glad you enjoy your phone which is behind Android and iOS phones released 2 years ago.

I said I like the the keypad. What's complicated about that?

I realize that Blackberry does make a nice keyboard. The problem is that one advantage certainly does not outweigh all the disadvantages.

BlackBerry's decline is a metaphor for the decline of America. Blackberry is better for work, iphone is better for play, apparently including an occasional porn buzz. Guess which one is soaring and which is in decline.

SU, have you looked into getting a Jitterbug phone?
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
