    A. I am not old enough to listen to Bob and Tom. I don't find them funny.

    B. Living in California...I spend most of my time with Non-Mo's, and while we talk comedians frequently, Regan has never once been brought up.

So don't play the FMCoug card on me kind sir!

And I like FMCoug...he is funnier than Regan.

Aren't the claims of Regan being unfunny redundant? I mean, most stand up comedy isn't all that good. It's often an exercise in desperate pleas for attention.

Few commedians are funny every time I hear them. My brother used to send me bits of Brian Regan and for three years I didn't care at all for him.

Then I watched a Comedy Central special and rolled on the floor laughing. Context is necessary with Regan.

Dave Attell, on the other hand, is hilarious every single time I hear him. Definitely isn't good for mixed company though, he can get raunchy.

          Insomniac was hilarious.

This one I think is funny, maybe because it's something I deal with on a regular basis.

Brian Regan was just on Letterman. I wanted to give it another shot because so many here think he is funny. I also noticed that he has sold out about 10 nights in January here in SLC.

He stunk again. I told my wife that he loves affectations.....and sure enough within a minute of starting his routine, he is doing facial contortions. Ugh. He did a bit about friends that want to explain the mortgage crisis to you, a bit about people that refer to income levels as "figures," and a bit about something else that I can't remember.

I think I just cant stand his delivery.

                This!
He has a pretty funny ER bit that goes around work here and there but his delivery just ruins it for me. I just like a much drier, more deadpan delivery--this is part of the reason I find Tosh so funny.

EDIT: Looks like the ER bit is the one that hostile posted. And it's probably a lot funnier to those of us who work there.
There's another funny one I remember watching--something about a spelling bee and then a science fair. Again, pretty funny stuff, but the delivery just kills it for me.

At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Good material ruined by bad presentation.

To each his own. I like both Gaffigan and Regan. But I find Gaffigan's high pitched voice shtick just as annoying as Regan's mannerisms.

My Dad thinks Gaffigan is hilarious. I rarely laugh when I watch his comedy. Regan is not funny.

I have a Brian Regan CD someone burned for me. There are big gaps between jokes where I assume he is making some sort of strange face. But since I don't have to see them, it doesn't take away from the material. I generally find him on the funnier side.

I also like Jim Gaffigan more than Regan.

Regan has a bit about the piped in bird noises on NBC's golf coverage that is pretty funny.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I just streamed Gaffigan's "Beyond the Pale" to show my teenage daughters. I kept telling them to give it some time.

                              They lasted 20 minutes.

Their verdict: not as funny as Brian Regan.

I like them both, but if you are looking to compare both guys have their Comedy Central specials on Netflix.
