  • Brian Regan

...laughed at this dude til I cried last night. Very funny guy. Just discovered him yesterday...died laughing.

I don't judge anyone else's taste, but I don't find him that funny.

I don't find him funny AT ALL.

I sat in a truck driving home from Utah 2 years ago and was forced to listen "to the funniest comedian in a long long time."

I didn't laugh once for the entire 45 minute CD. Not once.

        That whole Take...Luck thing? Unfunny.

Mo's think this guy is hilarious. I have:

        A. Never met a non-Mo that has heard of him.

        B. Never been able to understand why so many Mo's find him funny.

His act is clean. About they only thing I can think of.

I like him too, although his facial expressions in his act can get tiring. He's probably the best "clean" comedian I can think of that is still out there.

Gaffigan's the better of the "clean" comedians.

I like Regan. Last time I saw him live my sides hurt for a couple days. Looking forward to the show in January.

I just went and watched some YouTube bits. One about a visit to the eye doctor. One about UPS. I didn't find it very funny. I don't enjoy all the facial contortion stuff or the other affectations.

He did one bit about food that I thought was clever....serving sizes and the proliferation of cranberries in every fruit juice. I thought the observation was funny and accurate but the bit was somewhat ruined for me at the end when he went into the affectations. Ive never found that funny which would explain why I never laughed much at Bobcat.

Based on my small sample size, I don't think I would enjoy an entire show, let alone laugh to tears but I can see why many would enjoy him.

For those that love him, can you share some YouTube clips of your favorite bits? I only saw a few and even the best comedians aren't going to kill all the time. Maybe I just need to be pointed in the right direction.

Watched him too for the first time this weekend. I liked him as well....liked Regan a bit better. The thing about Regan IS is facial expressions. I liken him to a young Jim Carey just starting out...goofy, facial, fast, having fun.

Now you are starting to sound like FM Coug. He has done two Comedy Central specials, and has been on both Letterman and Conan O'Brian. He is also a regular on the Bob and Tom Show.

His hot pocket routine kills me. My best friend lived on those throughout college and medical school.

Our family likes him. We had his first CD and the kids used to like to listen to it on trips. I heard it several times before I saw him perform on video so the facial contortions were a bit of a surprise to me.

That being said, we are bigger fans of Jim Gaffigan. We can't serve bacon at our house without somebody reciting one of Gaffigan's food bits from memory.
