Anyone else planning on seeing this? And no, it's not a documentary on Wilkerson's ability to catch a football or Heaps ability to deliver one on target. I'll be seeing it as it qualifies under my "shot/takes place in Seattle" criteria, but it also has JGL and looks pretty good as well. Outside chance I'll see it this weekend, but I'm backed up on stuff I want to see so it may have to wait until next weekend.

I really want to see this. I like JGL as well. I don't quite have the crush you do, but I think he's rather talented. I loved 500 Days of Summer, in large part, because of him.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostAnyone else planning on seeing this? Also need to see Hesher. Some article I read a while back picked it as the best movie at the midway point. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Haven't seen the trailer but the synopsis sounds, uh, bitchin'?Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostDid you see the trailer for that bike messenger movie he's in? wtf? Don't get that choice.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt takes bike-riding in Gotham City to a new level in his upcoming flick "Premium Rush."
A new trailer for the action-thriller shows the actor playing a daredevil bike messenger who is thrown into the fast lane after he's tasked to deliver a mysterious envelope with top-secret contents. Michael Shannon of "Boardwalk Empire" plays the corrupt officer that will stop at nothing to intercept the delivery.
The contents of the envelope are unknown, but rest assured, it's not your average telegram. After Gordon-Levitt sneaks a peak inside it's clear he knows what he's in for, thus creating a high-speed, action-packed chase through the streets of New York.
One thing is for sure: Gordon-Levitt isn't giving up without a fight and he'll risk his life defending what's in the envelope before letting it fall into wrong hands.
The film is directed by David Koepp, known more for his screenplays for movies including "Jurassic Park," "Spider-Man" and "War of the Worlds."

This movie was apparently based on the true story of Seth Rogen and his friend who was diagnosed with this rare form of cancer. Danimal and I saw it on Saturday and I laughed and cried. The theater was nearly empty though. It was opening weekend. I would have thought it'd be more popular, but I guess it's hard to compete with Mufasa or Brad Pitt.
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

I caught this @ the matinee yesterday. It was exactly like I thought it would be and I loved it. I really loved the placement of High and Dry, also. It was almost like cheating to achieve the perfect tone."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

Well, finally saw this, long after I intended to. Other than using an obvious Vancouver as a stand in for Seattle, I really, really liked this. At some point I apparently missed the Bryce Dallas Howard hotness transformation, because, wow, what a babe she is in this thing. And Yellow Ledbetter at the end? Awesome.
Spoiler for Ending:Totally thought he was going to die.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
