This is an anniversary of the killings and KSL is pimping Cold. I decided to listen and it's riveting. Check it out if you haven't already.Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostLast weekend, I binge listened to Cold, a KSL podcast on the Josh Powell/Susan Powell tragedy. The season is not finished yet, but it's been really interesting, in a sad and twisted way. Steve Powell is a sick, sick man.

I binged in several years ago. I was returning a trailer I borrowed from a guy in my ward and really struggled to back it in to a tight spot, so the owner of the trailer volunteered to do it for me while I spotted him. While he was in the truck, the podcast ran, so when I left, I rewound to find my spot. And wouldn't you know it, it was right during the part where Josh Powell's dad confesses that he is sexually attracted to his own daughter, and was running while my friend was in the truck.Originally posted by Shaka View PostThis is an anniversary of the killings and KSL is pimping Cold. "Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

This is a pretty powerful podcast Joe Rogan does with former Texas Governor Rick Perry and Bryan Hubbard. Perry and Hubbard are advocating initiatives to research, develop, and trial the application of ibogaine for treatment of PTSD and opioid addiction. Please put aside any pre-conceived notions about Rogan or Perry and listen with an open mind. Especially if you've ever had a loved one gripped by mental health and addiction challenges.

I have a former addict turned addiction counselor friend who is very hopeful about ibogaine.

My 14YO daughter and I have a tradition of listening to MrBallen on our drive to Brighton. It's a true crime stories podcast, something I don't normally listen to. But this one is pretty good. The stories are like 30 minutes and the host sounds like a children's show narrator. He does a really good job of bringing a variety of stories, not just the lovers quarrel gone bad (though there are those). A recent story about a YouTube prank as cover for a political assassination was wild. I can't believe I hadn't heard of it before. Well worth listening.
