I loved The Shield, watched every second and have no idea what you're talking about. (I believe you, just weird that I have no recollection of that whatsoever.)

Don't recall that storyline at all.

Pretty sure it's not vaccine but the meds Claudette was taking?

Well, I'm glad none of you remember it because that means it won't play any significant role but at the end of the first or second episode (can't remember which I just finished) of season four, vic and his wife meet with an attorney who encourage them to participate in a class action lawsuit against vaccine manufacturers. The attorney mentions the same lame standard arguments: thimoseral contains 50% mercury, their kids started showing signs of autism shortly after getting their vaccine series done, incidence has gone up with frequency of vaccination, etc.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I started it this morning. I got to Chklis' second "how's about you...." And I went for a run. Based on the praise here I'm assuming it gets better.

Oh, right... THAT storyline. That storyline continues and takes up 75% of each episode from here until the finale.

Yeah, I'm surprised by the universal love for the show here. I watched 3 seasons but I haven't been hungry for more. I am intrigued by the finale, since everyone seems to think its one of the best final episodes in TV history.
