I'm surprised there hasn't been more Shield related discussion on here, before. I know it shows up in a few threads, but only 14 posts in this thread and couple other smaller threads.

Personally, I would but The Shield in the top 5, if not top 3, drama series of all time. Anywho, here is an interesting interview I found where Walton Goggins discusses where learning about Shane's fate, and how it effected him (about 1/2 way down, after some Justified questions).

For those who like Breaking Bad, The Wire and shows of similar ilk, do yourself a favor and head to netflix if you haven't seen TS yet. It has one of the best opening episodes and series finales, I've ever seen.

PS there are an excessive number F-bombs in the interview. Not sure why Walton felt the need to drop so many.

I agree. Really great show -- the first and last seasons were just incredible and the way the tension would build every season toward the finale was pretty awesome.

        I just finished season 1.

        Spoiler for Main character:
I know the main character is a conflicted character, IE both good and bad things, but I dont know if I can ever think of him as anything besides a big jackass douche that should be in jail for a long long time.

I've been binge watching the shield for the last couple of months. I just started season 6. It really is an excellent show. I'm pretty easily entertained and it has done exactly that. Great characters and great acting. The dynamics with cavanaugh have made for a good season 5. And the season 5 finale when lem leaves the show was pretty incredible,

                  The ending is damned-near perfect.

Blowing through this show. Just about done with Season 3. Dutch just caused me to dropped my jaw the last episode... Interesting to see if they pursue that further...

Just finished this show. Pretty well done, bit far fetched even for a tv drama, but man the ending was something else.

Great series. All the way to the end.

Definitely. Some of the best characters I've ever seen.

Ugh. I've loved this series so far, but please tell me they're not going to stick with this vaccine lawsuit nonsense....

I forgot about that storyline. Not a major part of story arc.

                              You asking for a spoiler?

Nah, as long as it dies quickly.
