Surely you recall from your days in the church that men do not prepare their lessons in advance.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”
― W.H. Auden
"God made the angels to show His splendour - as He made animals for innocence and plants for their simplicity. But men and women He made to serve Him wittily, in the tangle of their minds."

I don't know what gave Creekster that idea.Originally posted by falafel View PostEven though I just found out yesterday from creekster that you don't like me, I want to congratulate you. That is a tremendous achievement. I hope things continue to keep going well.
Thanks, it's a fun hobby. One that like kids (who aren't a hobby), you get out of it what you put into. This is the fifth one I've written, but I've found that all along I'm writing this one. It's always subjective but I feel really good about this one. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

I really liked Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall. Did you compare your novel to it, or did someone else write the blurb?
Sounds interesting and epic in its scope; certainly a real undertaking. That's awesome you started the project and saw it through to its completion.
Honest criticism: for the next round, take out "matrix," "kaleidoscopic," and "symbiotic" and replace with less pretentious/cliche words.Last edited by Levin; 03-26-2011, 07:08 PM.

Just to be clear it was a joke. You said you only ignored people you didn't like and then falafel asked why you hadn't responded or some such and so I just tried to make a little funny.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostI don't know what gave Creekster that idea.
