Apologies if these have been posted before. But if I ever have a hit rock song and it has to be remixed as a dance song, I'd want these guys to do it.

The Who's "Summertime Blues" is one of my favorites.

Fixin' to Die in the Whole Lotta Love medley on HTWWW is pretty cool, too.

I am waiting for a certain southern californian now residing in no uteco to endorse such covers as The Pet Shop Boys' "Always on my mind", Oasis' "I am the walrus" and Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing compares 2 U".

    Radiohead covers

    Regina Spektor - No Surprises

Mos Def - All I Need (sound quality isn't great, but he does a decent job)

John Mayer - Kid A (I know this has been posted/discussed on this board, but it's a pretty great interpretation)

A band called Good Shot Janssen does a cover/mash-up of Videotape and Like Spinning Plates. Very interesting sound.

Jazz cover of "A Wolf at the Door"

    And Hanson does "Optimistic"

My sister just sent me this, and while my wife has played this song so many effing times I couldn't really bear the thought of hearing it again in any incarnation, it is kind of cool.

The all time greatest cover is Jimi Hendrix covering All Along the Watchtower by Bob Dylan, Jimi absolutely killed the original and even Fulham agreed that the Hendrix version was better.

    SENT FROM MY SAMSUNG-GALAXY-S2

There's a lot of great covers on the album "The Late Great Daniel Johnston: Discovered Covered" but this version of Go by Sparkelhorse and The Flaming Lips is one of my favorites.

I saw this band open for the Pixies this weekend. Pretty decent, but I was floored by their cover of this song by Cake, of all bands.

Oh well, I don't like the music I like to impress anyone.

Maybe I should throw in Fear Factory's cover of Cars and Disturbed's cover of Land of Confusion. You know, just to ice the cake...

Oh, and Alien Ant Farm's cover of Smooth Criminal.

I just can't get over the hubris in your remark. So fucking funny.
