I've been very slowly working my way through the episodes. I'm maybe five in at this point. I've enjoyed it so far.

We have watched them all. My favorite was the guy from Argentina who has his little place on an island on the lake in Patagonia. Where he says he has earned the right to only invite people to share a meal with him if they are interesting becasue life is too short to waste on others. I rarely find myself envious of people, as I have been richly blessed, but I was a little bit of that guy. The thing about this series is that they are about so much more (typically) than the food. They are about life and pursuing your dream and seeing what makes people tick. And for the few subjects who are not deeply connected and profoundly motivated by their craft, the episodes just seem a little bland. Fortunately, those are rare.

Agreed. we planned a trip to sweden and were going to go to his restaurant (which is in the middle of freaking nowhere) but even though we were planing four months before the trip could not get a reservation.

That was my favorite episode as well.

"The Worricker Trilogy." Very well-done series about a quirky but likable British MI5 agent. Bill Nighy stars. It's a conspiracy thriller, very British and you need to pay attention to details. Who the good guys and bad guys are is not always clear cut. First-rate cast. Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter, Judy Davis, Rupert Graves, Wynona Rider, Christopher Walken, Rachel Weiss, many others.

I felt that way about season 2, unfortunately. You can imagine a house majority whip getting away with certain things, but not the VP and certainly not the president. They just asked for too much suspension of belief.

This season is terrible. Two episodes in and I'm done with it. I've been trying to make it through the last season of "The American's" and I just can't do it. Makes "Breaking Bad" and how it was strong all the way through look that much better.

I'm pushing through HOC just because I love the Kevin Spacey monologues so much. "Flipism"

The Americans better be ramping up for a killer final season next year because this and last were a little bit blah. Also: Keri Russell is rumored to have been raised Mormon.

Finished HOC.. Still frustrated with the realism being suspended at such a high level. The final episode does hook me a little with the thought of two characters battling but not sure it is enough.

I was more annoyed than anything.

MST3K is released tomorrow

OMG this show couldn't be a bigger joy. So much better than I remember it- just fantastic. I've watched the whole season and am half way through it again.

Keep going. True some episodes are better than others. The Mexican western was my favorite.
