I have a few gripes, but nothing major. For me, the Swedish "Let the Right One In" is the best vampire movie out there (the American adaptation "Let Me In" is fine, but not as good as the original, IMO). Midnight Mass is totally different visually than Let the Right One In, but I felt like it is the closest thing to capturing the feel/essence of LTROI. The addiction allegory weaved throughout the story is quite well done.

FTR, Midnight Mass is a 7-ep mini series. So it's a pretty quick watch. Some language and plenty of bloody gore, but no nudity, sex scenes, or overt sexuality, really.
I guess this is a pass from me.

Watched this during the COVID years. Liked it and the premise behind it. As I recall it was a "what is going on here?" for the first three quarters of the series, and then it turned into a "oh crap, what is going to happen now?" Also, I recall the music being especially enjoyable.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

The actual science fiction aspects of this show are definitely secondary to the comedy, the show is legitimately funny. The main character's enemy is a 10 year old boy who's the only that can recognize that he's an alien and he frequently refers to the kid as a "dickhead" and "little bastard."
Cranked it up last night and genuinely entertained. Fun show.

Have you considered taking short breaks during the show to fire up pornhub? There's got to be a way we find for you to watch the show.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

          • The Gentlemen series is great. Guy Ritchie. Kind of a cross between Breaking Bad and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Huge bonus is Giancarlo Esposito plays a role very much like his role in BB. Suave, articulate, and cunning kingpin of a meth empire. But in England this time.

Yeah we watched this last week. Guy Ritchie is awesome. Have you seen his 2020 movie of the same name?

We started this the other night, the dancing chicken scene was really intense. We're enjoying it.

Haha. Yeah, that was a great scene. I knew it somehow wasn't going to end well. Sure enough.

I was getting extremely anxious during that scene. 'OMG PULL OUT A GUN AND SHOOT THAT GUY,' I yelled..

I was yelling, "WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T SHOOT HIM!"

But I knew exactly what would happen because it pushed the plot along nicely.
