I like the Beatles pretty well, there is only one song that comes to mind that I would want left off "My Guitar Gently Weeps." That song bothers me for some reason.

And a great JethroTullAqualung shout out to you too.Originally posted by ERCougar View PostAlso abundantly clear--while drugs can cause a band to put out a lot of crap, they're also essential to really great music.
Speaking of which, I often amuse myself by imagining what it would sound like if Jethro Tull covered the Men At Work song "Down Under."

In a similar way, I wonder what a Bob Marley and the Wailers cover of the Eagles "Peaceful Easy Feeling" might sound like.Originally posted by Katy Lied View PostAnd a great JethroTullAqualung shout out to you too.

I was kind of a Jethro Tull fan as a kid, but after listening to them for years on classic rock stations, I have grown tired of them. I read once that Jethro Tull and Led Zeppelin used to tour together (JT as a warm-up band) and that Jimmy and Robert and the gang couldn't stand JT. They called them "Jethro Dull". This bolsters my theory about the effects of repeated exposure to JT music.Originally posted by Katy Lied View PostAnd a great JethroTullAqualung shout out to you too.

I will grant an exception, however, for Hymn 43."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."
