Yes, that was it, but it was a great way to end.
Spoiler for Some of last night's highlights:
Some satisfying resolution (esp. Mary and Matthew), but still others left to think about (I hope Bates will be released just as Thomas is about to become my Lord Grantham's valet). And I'm hopeful Mr. Strallen and Edith hook up. She's kind of a loser, but who couldn't be touched by her line, "If you think I'm going to give up on someone who calls me lovely...", or whatever.

Maggie Smith continues to get (and deliver) the best lines. When Sir Richard huffily announces that they'll probably never see him again, she asks calmly "Do you promise?" But she's not always so acerbic. She and Daisy were great together, and the Dowager Countess offered some very comforting words, "Well, forgive me, but that doesn't sound unloving. To me, that sounds as if you loved him a great deal."

It's going to be great when Grandmama (Shirley MacLaine) comes to Downton.

Filming of Season 3 is just starting. It will begin airing in the UK in the fall; in the U.S., not for nearly a year from now. I'll be working on Bates's appeal in the meantime.

You can print out these paper dolls for your viewing this sunday evening.

EVIL SOAP! I’m sorry, but these are the absolute best paper dolls anyone has ever designed for anything. New York Magazine’s Vulture created this series of four completely on-point paper dolls with some of the best characters from PBS’s epic series, “Downton Abbey.” If you don’t already watch it, these printouts will certainly get you back on the couch.

    too funny.

Ditto. Just discovered this. We watched the first two episodes Sunday night. Wife and daughter completely immersed in it. And I really like it. Very well done.

    Yeah, that's a great character.

I was. I thought it veered off into Falcon Crest territory. Hopefully it will right itself next week.
