Is there an update on this? Did we find out if the Kinect was ever able to boot up?

If you are talking about mine, wrong thread. Dunce.

No I finally gave up after trying and retrying various suggestions from google, blogs, other forums and calling Xbox customer support. It is sitting on the backseat of my truck and will be exchanged for a new one today. I will give it another go tonight if basketball practice ends on time.

If you were not talking about mine, I stand by my "Dunce" comment.

None, and I'm mystified as to why you keep asking this question. Fortunately, I have a backlog of games on the PS3 (I tend to play the exclusives first, so the multiplatform games take a backseat) so I don't have any need to go pick up games on the PC.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

There is no one man inside joke. You have revealed your status as an imposter in the eyes of all men.

This is a good strategy. You wind up playing games like LittleBigPlanet before w.a.s.t.ing time on nonsense like Fallout 3, COD, etc.

I guess you didn't see my post about LBP. I'm not a fan.

I'm talking about Uncharted 2, Infamous (lukewarm fan) and God of War III. I started actually playing Fallout 3, but the time requirement in that game is too much. I did get into Batman Arkham Asylum.

That was a very cool video. Imagine watching a movie that is not only 3D (not that 3D, sicko) but adjusts the perspective if you tilt your head, move side to side, or go up or down. I think that would do quite a bit to heighten the sense of reality.

I still think it will be awesome to play a game like say a Call of Duty where you walk around, have to look, can aim, shoot and interact with the world around you. How could would it be to be able to move things like a barricade in front of you as you ducked around corners. I imagine there would be a huge learning curve and that graphically it would take a while to catch up, but that would be awesome.

Also, think about games like Basketball (how much fun would a quick game of NBA Jam be against a friend?) Baseball or Football. Video games would literally be one of the best full body workouts you could do.
