If he was the biggest Harry Potter fan, he'd have a lightning tattoo on his forehead, not a stupid JK Rowling signature on his forearm.
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

I thought that part of the book was consciously done in that manner so as to give the reader the same feeling that Harry was feeling at that time. I liken it to The Two Towers where Sam and Frodo are wandering around for most of the movie however it gives you the same feeling of distress and frustration tha tthe characters are feeling.

I realize that boring the audience is not the best method for writing a book, but I think it was done intentionally. In any case that is my interpretation.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Wow. I can't even call myself a fan compared to the lifelong commitment of getting Harry Potter inked on your body. And the Dobby tats?

Plus J.K. "I saved literature and should be worshiped as a deity higher than Jesus/Allah combined" Rowling took the bull crap way out and threw together an awful ending that there is no way she wrote 15 years ago when she was avoiding looking for a job in a coffee shop.

Surfah, when are you and Gidget going?

Not sure yet. It's showing at the Muvico by the mall I know. That theater is pretty sweet if you haven't been yet. I am sure we won't see it for a week or two, you know after the waiting in line for an hour before the movie to get a seat dies down. But if Muvico is showing it in their adults only theater with reserved seats I'd be down for that.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
