Depends. Are they going to wander the forest for 300 pages in this part or the second part?
Wow, this is exactly what I was going to post. I hated book 7. The one Harry Potter book that has a huge chunk that could be left out of the movie, and they decide to make it into two movies. Makes perfect sense.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I'm not exactly sure how the book got chopped up, but the trailer definitely shows them in the forest at various points and visiting graves at Godric's Hollow. Dobby makes a brief appearance in the trailer for part 1—I don't know if this means they make it all the way to Shell Cottage or not?

Let me tell you how much I hated it. I still don't know how the series ends because I couldn't take one more page of wandering. I don't remember the exact page, but I just couldn't take it.

I think for the sake of narrative necessity, a lot of the superflous wandering will have to either be removed altogether or will have a bunch of additional action scenes thrown in to keep the audience's attention.
I like book seven, though. It wasn't my favorite of the series, but I enjoyed reading it, wandering and all.

We will see this for sure. We have read all the books and enjoyed the movies as well. We will definitely finish the movie series out. Hopefully it will not disappoint!

I figured that would be the case, cutting the wandering out. It weighed into my decision to stop reading.

My guess is Part 1 will end when Ron pulls Harry out of that pond. I think that was at the end of their wanderings, IIRC.
