I bet my wife that the tattooed Vegas couple were going home first. So close!

"Melon to the face" has now entered the pantheon along with "marching frat boy" and "cheese rolling."
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

        Yeah, they're great.

        "Are you a battlement?"
        Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Me too, although my video never made it in. I applied with a coworker buddy and we shot the video in the company's legal board room. I had the video on a DVD and had to transfer it to VHS but didn't have the equipment to do that and I couldn't find anyone in time to do the conversion so we missed out on actually applying. I do still have the video adn maybe I'll upload it to youtube and post it.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. I haven't seen anything except the watermelon to the face video. And that was awesome.

I could watch that 1000 times and it wouldn't get old. The best part is how the teammate says hit him in the kisser right before that thing comes right back into her grill. That had to hurt. And that had to be one soft, ripe watermelon to not KO her. I also like the jester who doesn't quite know what to do. ROFL.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Yes, a prime example of why I was pretty confident I was going to win that bet.

So the QVC chicks are growing on me. I would be annoyed by them IRL but on tv they are funny. I was also genuinely touched by the mom/daughter - I thought their story showed the bittersweetness of having picked a good family but yet having missed the opportunity yourself.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I was thinking about them after the show. When you are eliminated from one of these types of shows, don't they put you up in a hotel or something until it is over? I suspect that will serve as better "quality time" than wheeling weird coffins through the streets of Ghana. Either way, it is certainly a touching story.

I think that's right - I'm pretty sure you are sequestered for the duration of the show. So they'll get a month together no matter what.

Their story is one of the few I actually find compelling.

Right. "Newly Dating" gets old really quickly. Or, "Best friends."

"Best Friends" is often a euphemism for "Gay But In the Closet" too.

I usually like the parent/child teams because there are many differences and potential conflict factors there. I really got a kick out of watching Miss Kentucky (who I like more each week) cross herself in the cab when it broke down. Um, last time I checked, there weren't a lot of Catholics with accents like hers.

It would've been great if her dad was like..."sweetie, we're not catholic..."
