She could be Catholic. My wife grew up in Cleveland, Tennessee.
I'm happy she and her dad made it. I'm liking these teams. The acappella boys crack me up.
I know. For the first time in a long time I am having a hard time finding a team to cheer against. I'm sure one will emerge eventually, but everybody has been pretty likable so far. I am still cheering for the doctors most.

I think the choir boys will be the ones who do something nasty first. Even if mostly unintentional...take a cab, push someone going to a clue box etc...

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Maybe after last season's vitriol between Miss Teen South Of Idiocy and "The LESBIANS!" the show wanted to take a gentler approach to casting.

So the QVC chicks are growing on me. I would be annoyed by them IRL but on tv they are funny. I was also genuinely touched by the mom/daughter - I thought their story showed the bittersweetness of having picked a good family but yet having missed the opportunity yourself.
That blonde was going to own the selling thing last night. I knew it the moment it she kissed that English tractor driver. She's hot and she uses the hotness to get what she wants. They're a team to watch.
"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

Some others have said it in this thread, but I wanted to add my two cents. I think this is one of the best groups we've seen on Amazing Race in several years. The a capella guys are genuinely funny ("I'm just proud that I didn't soil myself" and the singing at the cab driver to please speed up. Both those made me LOL); the doctors are genuinely kind, good people; the Asian father has a lot of humility and it shows; the football player turned his attitude around after the first episode and had a smile on his face throughout this entire episode; the mother and adopted daughter make for a fantastic story.
There's a reason why The Amazing Race wins the Emmy every year: writing and editing take a back seat to basic human interaction. Put people in a variety of scenarios (beautiful, stressful, happy, difficult, etc.) and simply film how they react. It's a great formula and that's why it keeps working.

Absolutely, they seem like they have the drive necessary to win. I always judge teams on the "head shaving" scale. If confronted with a fast-forward that required one of them to shave her head, would they do it? I think these two would.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...
None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.
I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.
I really liked when they were first leaving Ghana and told they were headed to the Arctic Circle and the tat dude must have thought they were looking for the fast food joint. "What, we're going to the airport?"

Hilarious. That was hard to catch at first, but very funny.
Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
The father and son team. They got busted for cheating twice and couldn"t make up for it.
Can I reiterate how much of a hard time I'm having hating anybody this year? Football and Pixie are sometimes mean to each other, and Notre Dame and Blondie, and the Tattooed Ones, but it's not that bad. There's no team I'm rooting to lose. My favorites are the doctors, though, because they are so dang cheerful.

I don't like the Miami couple or the Notre Dame guy and the Tats are usually dumb as rocks, which I look down upon. Anyone notice that they didn't do or the show didn't show their Speed Bump tonight? They were saved by non-elimination last week, but no mention of the speed bump this week.
I like the father-daughter from Kentucky, the docs and then the home shopping chicks, in that order.
