I look forward to hearing how Mark Millar's latest movie-pitch-in-comic-form has turned out.Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...
None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.
I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

I'm heading to go see it at 10:20 at the Gateway, I'm pretty pumped to see it, apparently it is definitely not for the faint of heart. Looks like it will be a pretty memorable movie that will be a fun movie going experience regardless if it isn't a masterpiece.

I noticed today that the LHM Megalex Theaters website lists the name of the movie as "Kick A**".Originally posted by Hsaru View PostI'm heading to go see it at 10:20 at the Gateway, I'm pretty pumped to see it, apparently it is definitely not for the faint of heart. Just got back, the movie was awesome, definitely a crowd pleaser.
Hit Girl is going to be the most talked about movie character of the year easily.
Not many movies can blend action and comedy so seamlessly, definitely recommended for anyone not easily offended! This movie is going to do really well due to word of mouth if I had to guess.Last edited by Hsaru; 04-17-2010, 12:18 AM.

Awesome, awesome show. I went in without a clue as to what it was about (I hadn't seen a trailer or anything) and was thoroughly entertained for the next two hours plus.
As Hsaru mentioned above, just a great blend of action and comedy. Kind of the superhero version of Zombieland (in a very Matthew Vaughn sort of way).
I am by no means a movie critic (or really even a movie buff) so I always feel inadequate in critiquing films. That said, I know what I like and what I don't like, and I really liked this show. The characters are vulnerable and real, despite the surrealness of their actions.
Nick Cage wasn't even distracting, which is unusual. Also, Lyndsy Fonseca is not difficult to watch.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
