    Movies in 2010

I was thinking of seeing "Youth in Revolt" (and didn't want to commit an entire thread to it), but based on the reviews I'll wait until it hits Netflix.

I'm also looking forward to "When in Rome", but only because of Kristen Bell.

Is "Clash of the Titans" going to be any good?

I really enjoyed the first one as a five year old.

You had me at John Cusack.
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

Most intriguing for me is definitely INCEPTION, the new film by Christopher Nolan. Nobody knows anything about it and the trailer doesn't give much away either. I think the screenplay is by Nolan and his brother Jonathan too. They wrote THE PRESTIGE together and Jonathan wrote the story for MEMENTO.

Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

You have me intrigued. "Memento" is an insane movie, but I loved it.

What makes you say that (other than the clear cookie-cutter rom-com plot and antics)?

One thing about this upcoming year: It is slightly heartening that even though there are a ton of remakes and "re-imaginings," I'm not seeing a lot of straight sequels (and nobody's gonna criticize Pixar for a sequel anyway since they live and breathe quality at every turn.)

I'd watch a movie about ponies if Christopher Nolan directed it.

Looks like you'll have to settle for Michael Bay for the moment: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXoYK4b_q24"]YouTube- MY LITTLE PONY: Live-Action Trailer[/ame]
