As a greenie, my trainer from Mexico City, D.F., wrecked our Escort. How in the hell they let him drive is beyond me. I seriously would close my eyes as we drove places. Anyway, we're downtown Denver on a two-lane one-way (you follow?) street. We're in the right hand lane. Anyway, my companion thought it was a two-way street. So he pulls a left hand turn from the right lane despite my protest. We get T-boned by a guy in the left lane. It was a pretty bad accident actually. We were both fine. But police came and gave my comp a ticket. I had to knock on a few houses to ask if we could use a phone to call for help. Luckily no one was injured. I was pissed that we got our car taken away especially since we covered almost the entire city of Denver, Aurora, Arapahoe, Littleton, Parker, and Highlands Ranch and I was forced to buy a bike. Also I got $35 deducted as a fine for being the 'co-driver' at the time of the accident.
