"I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay
"Hot Lunch posted awhile back on this. He knows more than anyone except for maybe BO."-Seattle Ute
The lyrics are so damned stupid. It's not even fair that no one told them how bad this was. I think A&F paid them to write the song.
"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.
The rest of us rarely bother to think about our actions." --Solon

I was on my mission when that thing was released. Thankfully, it had already died by the time I returned.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I was on my mission as well when that came out I think. I remember going bowling as a zone one P-Day and this song came on and everyone was singing it. It was then I discovered I must have been the only guy in the mission who didn't listen to the radio.
In a related story, I once had to trade our car in. We got rid of our Escort and got a new Focus. I was in Dodge City, KS and had to drive my companion to Pueblo, CO and drop him off there and then drive by myself in a convoy with other missionaries to Denver. That was really the only time I was tempted to listen to the radio being in the car by myself for a few hours. But I resisted. Mostly because I thought should I turn it on I'd get in a car crash and die and the radio would be blaring and my mom would think I was bad missionary. Man, I need help. I have a serious guilt complex.
I could say "anything by def leppard", but that's a given so I'll nominate these awful songs:

Now, I love these guys, but this song blows:

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill
"I only know what I hear on the news." - Dear Leader
Beach Boys - Little Saint Nick. I heard it the other day when I was in the office and it filled me with a desire to punch everyone responsible for creating the song and whomever was responsible for the song being on the radio at that point.
As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Were were in the mission field at the same time. My companion and I were the first companionship to get a new Focus. I was stoked. On our way somewhere we were listening to some learn spanish tapes (he was an english speaker) and I was talking to him and we got in an accident. I had to go to the hospital, just b/c I told the stupid EMT that my neck might have been a little sore.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
