Let us not forget that the Cartel/CIA reveal is no the first time SOA has pulled this kind of stunt. Remember when Gemma spent a whole season thinking that Jax had turned rat with agent Stahl? The audience was left to twist in the wind with Gemma while the rest of the club was in on the secret. Freaking lame. The show has some great stuff going on, but keeps pulling these shenanigans, which is starting to make it feel like The Dukes of Hazard.

Boardwalk Empire just finished up the season with the kind of finale I was hoping for on SOA. It was good to see that writers with balls are scribbling in at least this corner of the 'biz.

Sons of Anarchy lost credibility with the whole real IRA thing. I watched this past season. But the season before was way more ridiculous. The Real IRA do not have the connections, political support nor the cash to move large quantities of guns. They are a tiny fraction of what the IRA was and are more likely to strike with bombs, not guns. They are nowhere near as organized and they face resistance from the IRA/Sinn Fein who carry loads more political and international clout.

Just watched the first two episodes of the 1st season. Why have I not been watching this all along? BTW, streaming for free from Amazon prime.

Heck yes it is. I've now watched all 4 seasons, they're all pretty good but the 4th is great. I'm glad they've got at least 2 more seasons to go.

Egads. Sons of Anarchy is back with its new season and it had one of the most disturbing scenes that I have seen on television. That was terribly brutal and hard to watch. This show is a bit scattered and crazy, but it is always entertaining.

Yeah that was very tough to watch. I like the addition of several familiar faces to the cast though. Is the part about Jax keeping a diary written to his son new this season or did they start that last year?

This was the first episode of the show I ever watched. It's good to know I won't have to watch something similar every episode when I go back and watch from the beginning. Yeesh.

What happened? If someone wants to summarize the scene as a spoiler alert so those who watch the show that have yet to see it, that would cool.

There were two disturbing scenes. One involving Tig and one involving Peg Bundy and Jimmy Smits.

I ripped through the first 3 seasons on Netflix. I just bought Season 4 from Amazon Prime last night. I expect to get through that as fast as I can so that I can enjoy season 5 on a weekly basis.

This season is pretty good so far.

Yeah, wow. This show just gets better. Not sure there is anything I like better.
