  • HOLY CRAP! First the shoes lady goes crazy, then confesses, then the young tribe totally disintegrates in the tribal council. WOW!

    Shannon was such a moron.

Yeah, I don't know how someone goes into that game and then acts like a complete moron/ass within 4 days of being there. Do you want to lose???

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

        • Probst pulled the ole switcheroo on the tribes mixing old with young. I suspect the old folks will still get picked off one by one with maybe one or two sneaking by until the merge.

Marty can't be too long for the game.

          • This might be the season of zero big moves.

We're finally to the merge and there is very clearly a group in control. It'll be interesting to see if anyone will flip on the group. I can't believe what they let Nianca get away with...

Fabio is one of my favorites of this season, that kid is so clueless it's funny.

I still really like this show but this seems like one of the weaker seasons so far. The bar has been set so high by other big personalities that this group seems a little bland. And honestly, there isn't that much that is easy on the eyes outside of Brenda.

                • Ok, so that Phillip guy is just awesome; he's the new Coach. I love how he keeps telling everyone that he was a sworn federal agent. Yeah, so was I, when I was a Census Enumerator. We've got Russell and Boston Rob back, sort of against each other

I love how the one dude told the farmer guy that he had, "the richest man sweater I've ever seen."

The meltdown in the first tribal council, where Phillip told everyone that the boob-job lady had the hidden immunity idol was great.

And this Redemption Island thing could be promising.

Yeah, it's amazing how stupid some of the people are on there. Boston Rob has them all where he wants them. At least Russell has a few people pushing back against him.

                    • Is that Phillips dude for real or is he playing a game with everyone?

If he's trolling them, he's one of the best actors I've ever seen. It's like Mike Tyson had a drug addict uncle on the show.

                        • This season looks very enticing. Haven't missed a season in 8 years.

Last season I DVRed every episode and watched it the weekend before the finale. That was very fun. I'm considering doing it again.

                          • Russell is awesome!

He gets voted out, goes to redemption island, loses, and still never stops playing the game.

He gets Ralph to admit he has an idol, tells the other team all of his tribes alliances...awesome!

                            • I loved this season. Phillip is a brilliant man who didn't deserve all the meanness that came out at the end. He didn't deserve to win, mind you, but he's no dummy, and I would've liked to have seen Jeff Probst call the bullies out.

I loved the whole interaction with Julie. Perfect.

I haven't seen the finale yet - so I don't have an opinion on whatever meanness at the end you are referring to.

But I would say that a lot of the meanness in the middle - he was asking for. Dude goes off on a screaming tirade, basically saying that folks from the other tribe better watch themselves because they have no idea what he is capable of - and when they say he's crazy he pulls the race card and tells Jeff during tribal council that they went off on him for making a logical arguement.

Um...OK. Yeah, Philip...that's EXACTLY how it happened.

I would agree that he is smarter than they give him credit for. But there is also a reason that the dude was only a federal agent for 3 years and 327 days (or whatever it is that he kept spouting.)
