In season three now, still like it. Any overlap between fans of this show and MMA fans here? Nice cameo of Keith Jardine getting his ass kicked in "I.F.T."
I love Badger and Skinny Pete. They were so great in the 2nd episode of this season.

Agreed.
I often volunteer at the local soup kitchen and there is a guy that comes in that we call Skinny Pete. Looks a lot like him, but has the real meth sores. He has a big friend much like Badger too. He is a lot scarier looking in real life than on the show.
The most recent episode, there's so much unspoken communication in the scenes. Watching Walt lose his leverage and standing in every aspect of his life over the course of the episode, then spark Hank to get back on the case, was a masterful slow burn. I also love the continued exploration/discovery of Gale's apartment/personality.

Midway through the season and the show finally looks like it's ready to go somewhere.
Yes. It has been a big let down thus far.

You guys are brutal. Give Skyler a break. It's not as easy to shed the baby weight once you hit your 40s. Not everyone can stay eternally fit and trim, like Gus.

Speaking of Gus, how bad was his Spanish? For some reason I thought the dude was going to be a native speaker. Oops!
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
Blowing up the car, Pinkman's Narcotics Anonymous rant, as BO perfectly put it, the slow burn of Walt's vanity (in vino veritas) as he gets Hank back in the game, and Hank's perfect character acting when he reveals finding Gus's fingerprints at Gale's place.
Plus, the camera work is just great. I loved the camera on top of the roomba vacuum.

There's definitely been some great stuff, but just not a lot has been happening in terms of advancing the story up until this last episode. It's been more about dealing with the repercussions of last season than moving anything this season. Also,
Spoiler for Spoilers:
Hank not making more of a connection to Walt at this point is right on the verge of silly. If they go much longer, and I think they have to since my impression has always been that Hank finding out will be more or less the climax of the series, it's going to get to the point where the show loses some credibility. For now they're still getting away with it, but I don't know for how much longer.
