League of extraordinary gentlemen. We were really bored and it was a dollar movie so we didn't feel like it was a huge loss.
Have you ever walked out of a movie?

I walked out of Jurrasic Park 2 because I was bored.
On my senior trip (cruise) i walked out of a comedy show. The comedian started his routine with the 55 uses for the f-word. I made it through about 12 of them before I decided I had enough and went to bed. I think now iprobably would have stayed.

Only once, my wife and I went and saw Be Cool. It was the worst movie I have ever seen and we left about an hour in to it.*Banned*

My brother, his wife and my parents all went to a movie together but got there late. They stayed in the theater until the next showtime so they could see the part in the beginning they missed. Once they got to the part they had come in on, my brother stood up and said, "this movie sucks," and then walked out with his wife and my parents following behind. What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

I answered "no" since I generally am very picky about seeing movies in the theater, especially with redbox just around the corner.
I did fall asleep during King Kong. I woke up in time to see the island scene with the T-rex and bugs and then fell asleep again at the end. In the end I paid $9 for a one hour movie and an two hour nap."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I fell asleep during every LOTR in the theaters, with the time I slept progressively longer with each movie.Originally posted by Eddie Jones View PostI answered "no" since I generally am very picky about seeing movies in the theater, especially with redbox just around the corner.

The Shadow. The only movie I have ever left before the end."The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

I have done this only once in my life. Generally I feel a moral imperative to sit through even the most hideous dreck so I can warn the rest of the world. But there was a year or two where my wife and I were attending those free advance screenings all the time, I mean, we were seeing 1-2 movies in the theater per week, and we ended up at the sneak preview for AMERICAN PIE 2.
I didn't have especially high regard for the first movie, but I had laughed a few times and I figured this one would be the same. Instead, it was just painfully unfunny. I kept thinking "Something funny's gotta happen soon" but then I finally realized that we were about 40 minutes in and it just wasn't going to get better. My wife, who was bored out of her mind at this point, turned to me and said (rather loudly) "Can we ditch this and go eat?" That's all I needed to hear.Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...
None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.
I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

I usually just fall asleep instead. I almost left The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. But there were only 2 other people in the theatre and I thought they might feel bad about staying if I left.Get confident, stupid

It was all I could do to stay in my seat for all of "Transformers 2," still the worst big-budget movie I have ever seen. The latest Terminator movie is right up there with it, IMO. (Since seeing those two I am much more choosy about movies I let my sons talk me into seeing.)“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”
