I usually make a point to know what I am getting into before walking into the theater. To be honest, not usually because of moral concerns, but financial. I want to make sure I am getting my money's worth.

That said, the closest I have ever come to walking out of a movie was Pirates 3 with Gidget. We both were bored beyond tears and were wondering why we wasted money and a babysitter on that piece of crap. We should have found a place to quiet place to park instead.

I have turned off plenty of movies I've rented.

I just can't bring myself to walk out of a movie (or turn off a rented flick). I have to see it through regardless of how lame or offensive it is. I don't know why, but that's just how it is. I will say, I came close with 10,000 BC and The Mummy 3, but that's it.

I voted "No, but I wanted to."

When I was 19, all of my friends had left on missions except one guy and a girl we regularly hung out with. We 3 decided to go see He Got Game with Ray Allen. I was pretty close to leaving on my mission, I believe. There's a scene in that show where Ray is being recruited by some school, and during his trip to the campus he is ushered into a room and then locked in (?) while two naked blond women come in and they have a threesome.

This scene (along with some of the other scenes) made the girl we were with really uncomfortable, and she asked if we should leave. I felt like an idiot, but then still said "nah, I think its almost over." hahahahahaha. Anyway, I think I probably should have left, given her request and my status as a pre-missionary.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Popeye (with Robin Williams) and more recently, we were in Vegas...post UCLA Vegas Bowl. I fell asleep during the sequel to National Treasure. I woke up and walked out into the casino, ate some food, and maybe played some video games while I waited for my wife and FIL.

Yes for both reasons. Only on three occasions that I can think of, but most recently last night.

I voted yes, becuase the movie was too vulgar/offensive. See, when I was about ten or so the parents took us kids to Blank Check. Those of you who remember this one will recall that the young protagonist in the movie was dating a much older 20 something. This was offensive to my mother and we staged a full family walkout. Much has changed since then.

if we are including turning off movies on TV or rentals, then my list is probably extremely long. I am more likely to turn off a TV or rental movie than I am to finish it.

Someone here mention Pirates 3. I made it part way through Pirates 2 and decided I had seen enough forever. They went to the swamp house of some rasta witch. I don't know what happened after that because I didn't make it past that scene.

My Grandma took a bunch of us grand kids to the movies when I was 14 and, knowing nothing about it, decided on Milk Money. I think we made it about 10 minutes into the movie when she stood up and made us all leave.

I forgot the option to include both yes options. If you have both yesses, choose the one that you would be more likely to walk out on.

I leave movies that are stupid and walk into a different one. Most recently, left 9 and went into The Informant. Last spring, I left Benjamin Button and went into Slumdog Millionaire.

Once, in 1989. The movie was "How I Got Into College" and I think it starred Anthony Edwards. Nothing objectionable, just a horrible, horrible movie. More recently I saw Fred Claus with OrangeUte and his wife. Probably the single worst film I've ever seen all the way through. But we had fun laughing at how bad it was so it was worth sticking around.

I've never walked out of a movie. The only time I've considered it is "Bruno".

I've turned off rentals/borrowed movies. The most recent was "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas".
