I'm looking forward to seeing it, but I need a date for this, as my wife doesn't like the Coen Brothers and this sounds a little too bleak or nihilistic for her. I'll spring for tickets and the usual trough of popcorn.

Get all the stuff done that your wife won't do with you as soon as you can. From observations of friends of mine, you are getting close to the age where you will stop doing anything if your wife won't go with you.

Fortunately, my nearby unmarried sister will go to anything and is my frequent cinema companion. Plus she doesn't eat from my barrel of popcorn. I'm good for many years to go.

It opened last weekend but doesn't appear in any SLC listings. Is it on limited release?

You are indeed fortunate to have two women who will nurture you as you slowly move toward childlike maturity and need to have "Mom" accompany you whereever you go.

Am I expected to put out or can I just squeeze your hand and say "I like you as a friend"

Yep. Not in SLC for at least a few more weeks.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

Early buzz is more than good, I've seen a lot of critics claiming it's arguably their best work.

                  I'm stoked to see it.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

crap. I should have read the whole thread. In my favor is that fact that i wont be presetn at family gatherings to tell how you laughed inappropriately during the film.

Hey, my wife's sis and BIL are with us this weekend so I can't attend until next week. If you promise to keep your mitts out of my popcorn, and are as easy as MRD, then I may give you a call.

I'm very excited about this film, as the Coen Bros are probably my favorite film makers. I would have liked to have seen another trailer too.

Well a large part of the appeal was the trough of popcorn you were buying, which i assumed you would share, but OK, I agree. give me call if it works out.

I misread this word at first, and I was a bit concerned about what you two were into.
