I was a Conan Tonight Show fan? I wasn't aware, having never watched it, but good to know!

Also, usually when you talk about a show being dead, you're only talking about it's likelihood of being cancelled. It doesn't take any great talent to predict which shows might get cancelled. Most of NBC's comedy lineup is on constant deathwatch ratings-wise, but creatively, it's some of the best stuff on TV.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

I wasn't sure, which is why I asked.

I'm not talking about cancellation. I am sure Parks and Rec will be on for several more seasons....just like The Office. When I say dead, I mean that they have run out of ideas. Slapstick is a dead giveaway. Hollywood agreed with me (not you) about Community. You can continue to enjoy Parks and Rec, however. Have at it. I sense a lot more hilarious slapstick woven into the "Knope for City Council" plot (itself a dead giveaway). Lots of opportunities to crash into things, break stuff, bang heads, tackle people, and act silly. As Rob Lowe would say, Parks and Rec is LITERALLY.....done.

LOL. Well when "Hollywood" and DDD are aligned and a comedic TV show pursues a plotline that contains potential for silliness, I suppose there's no sense arguing the matter.

I'd agree the first season and a half. I freaking loved that show. I didn't watch a single episode this last half season, and if I interpret the "hiatus" NBC put them on correctly, I don't think I'm alone in that regard.

I think you are not interpreting the hiatus correctly. You've missed some great, great episodes.

It's incredible how monumentally bad this show has been since December.

I still enjoy it, but it is trying very hard to prove my belief that no sitcom has more than 2 1/2 season of being really good.

Virginia Venit still makes me want to be a PGA player.

As long as it still has Sofia Vergara's boobs, I will still watch it.

Sounds like the Modern Family cast is taking their studio to court over the current amount they make per episode. Ed O'Neal (Jay) who makes more than the other adult cast members as it is has also joined the suit. The show canceled its first reading for the new season due to the scuffle. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

NBC, trying to cash in on the success of Modern Family will counter with "The New Normal." I give it a season, at most.
